a fundraiser for the Battle Creek Area
Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
The Fundraiser featured a concert with
American Idol Finalist Matt Giraud.

Michael was awarded the 2009 'Participation Award'
from the Battle Creek Area Association of Realtors.

Michael helped raise over $25,000 on March 14, 2009 for the restoration of the Hart Hotel in Battle Creek for the Church of Scientology. Michael is pictured here speaking at the fundraiser held in the ballroom at the downtown historic landmark. In the past 8 years, Michael has helped raise over a half a million for this restoration project to benefit the community.

Michael Pictured here (far left) with the local Realtor Political Action Committee (RPAC) and newly elected State Representative Kate Segal for House Seat 62 at the Board of Realtors office in 2008. The RPAC Committee presented Representative Segal with a contribution to her campaign.
On April 21, 2008 Michael accepted a proclamation from Mayor Susan Anderson of Springfield, Michigan on behalf of the Battle Creek Area Association of REALTORS® in City wide recognition of Fair Housing Month in April.
Michael helped organize the 'Breakfast with the Easter Bunny' held on March 8th, 2008 at the Riverside Country Club. The breakfast helped raise funds for several charitable organizations receiving grants from the Battle Creek Area Association of Realtors.

In 2007, Michael raised $1500 towards the Battle Creek Fallen Officer's Memorial Project through his Church. The memorial was dedicated on June 10, 2008 and the total of $350,000 for it's construction came from over 500 donors in the community.
In May of 2007, Michael raised $1000 for the Binder Park Zoo 'Animals Depend on People Too' (A.D.O.P.T.) program, adopting a total of 15 separate animals as part of the annual program to feed and care for the animals.
