2006

Michael became a licensed REALTOR® in the State of Michigan.

He became a member of the ‘Battle Creek Area Association of REALTORS® (BCAAR)’, the ‘Michigan Association of REALTORS® (MAR)’ and the ‘National Association of REALTORS®.

2007

He became a member of the ‘Public Relations’, the ‘Government Affairs’, the ‘MLS(Multiple Listing Service)/Technology’ and the ‘Professional Development’ Committees of BCAAR.

Earns the NAR ‘e-PRO® Certification’ as an Internet and technology professional.

Earns the ‘Transnational Referral Certification’(TRC) from NAR.

Earns the ‘At Home With Diversity’ Certification from NAR.

Is awarded the 2007 ‘Rookie of the Year’ award from BCAAR.

 Receives the ‘Certified Residential Specialist’ (CRS) Designation from the Council of Residential Specialists.

Is awarded the ‘2007 Educational Achievement Award’ from BCAAR.

Is awarded the ‘2007 Participation Award’ from BCAAR.

2008

He is appointed as Chairman of the ‘Professional Development Committee’ of the Battle Creek Area Association of REALTORS®.

He continues to serve on the other BCAAR committees he joined in 2007.

He is appointed as the BCAAR representative on the Southwest Regional Information Center (SWMRIC) MLS Specifications Committee.

He is elected to a Director position on the BCAAR Board of Directors, to serve in 2009.

Is awarded the ‘2008 Educational Achievement Award’ from BCAAR.

Is awarded the ‘2008 Participation Award’ from BCAAR.

2009

Michael serves on the BCAAR Board of Directors.

He also serves on the ‘Government Affairs' and the ‘MLS(Multiple Listing Service)/Technology'

He continues to serve as Chairman of the Professional Development Committee, and also as BCAAR Representative on the Southwest Regional Information Center (SWMRIC) MLS Specifications Committee.

He is elected as 'President-Elect' of the BCAAR Board of Realtors, and will serve as President in 2011.

Is awarded the ‘2009 Educational Achievement Award’ from BCAAR.

Is awarded the ‘2009 Participation Award’ from BCAAR.

2010

Michael serves as President-Elect of the BCAAR Board of Directors.  He will serve as President in 2011. 

He continues to serve on the ‘Government Affairs' and the ‘MLS(Multiple Listing Service)/Technology' Committees.

He continues to serve as Chairman of the Professional Development Committee for his third straight year. 

He also continues to serve as BCAAR Representative on the Southwest Regional Information Center (SWMRIC) MLS Specifications Committee.

He took part in the Michigan Association of Realtors 'Achieve Conference' held in Detroit for upcoming Association leaders.

He attended the National Association of Realtors Leadership Summit for incoming Association Presidents held in Chicago.

Michael was honored with the prestigious 'Realtor of the Year' Award for 2010 by the Battle Creek Area Association of Realtors, and became a 2010 Nominee for the Michigan Association of Realtors (MAR) where he represented BCAAR at the MAR Annual Convention as a delegate.
